Beautiful establishment, slightly overcrowded & quite noisy. Salad bar was located near the bathroom, which was rather un appealing yet a great restaurant with phenomenally delicious food nonetheless.

This is a great restaurant to visit with family and friends. The food is delicious and they’re generous with their portion sizes. The cocktails are also pretty strong. The waiters are very attentive and helpful. Violet made our visit an absolutely memorable one. Overall this restaurant gets a 10/10 from me.

I tried the Vegan New Age Bolognese at Lanie’s Café, and it was such a treat! The dish came with a side of fresh bread and a salad, making it a well-rounded and satisfying meal. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and full of flavor. I absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious vegetarian and wholesome option.

Always, always!.... an unforgettable and amazing experience at Lanie's Cafe. Food is served in abundant portions, always consistent, and the service is excellent. So blessed to live near this local gem of a restaurant. I ordered the "Chicken" Ryan as pictured with egg battered chicken. The chef accommodated my special request to make it with chicken and extra sauce on the side.

Last night (12/10/25) we had the most wonderful time. There were 13 women and our server was Jason. He is the absolute best!!! He rapidly and happily accommodated all our requests and with a smile on his face and a keen sense of humor. As always the food was delicious but Jason made our get together absolutely perfect. He actually got up on a stool to take a group picture for us - and the best was he accommodated us with separate checks as we had a diverse group with some ordering wines and others not. Also some ordered full dinners and others went the sandwich route. I know this was asking a lot of him, but he willingly did it and it made settling the bills so easy. Everyone was so comfortable with that as they could order what they wanted and not have to worry about splitting the bill at the end fairly. (that would have been way too much Math for us LOL) So cheers to Jason for the exceptional service and to Lanies for the wonderful food and festive atmosphere. I hope that you will share this review with Jason. He earned and deserves the accolades. Thank you, Jason. Pat Mehleisen and friends

The food was good and tasty The restaurant has a good ambiance and pretty Christmas decorations we had the salmon which was a special that day with the chicken parm and aubergine parm all of them were good The salad bar was so fresh but missing some protein options in my opinion. For dessert we had the lemon cake in which the buttercream was excellent but the cake was dry and cold . The waiter was so sweet to us. Now, coming to the atmosphere there was a lot of crowd that day and it seemed the other waiters kept running into each other and customers when they had to use the washroom. Other than the awkward placement of the washroom everything was ok.

They give you so much food here! Honestly, you should skip lunch if you’re coming. I skipped mine today, and I still feel like I’ve got lunch ready for tomorrow too!

Great place to stop for lunch after picking up a guest at the airport. We sat outside in the pleasant patio. Our waitress was both friendly and efficient. Our sandwiches were delicious and the sweet potato fries to die for. I would definitely visit again. We decided to split a dessert and ordered the fried ice cream, which sounded delicious. Despite a beautiful presentation, neither of us were blown away. It was challenging to eat and the hard frozen ice cream had too much coating. But there were other appealing dessert choices and next time we'll try one of those. Overall, highly recommend Lanie's Cafe.
